Our Journey
I began my career in the electrical trade in 2000, starting an apprenticeship with Lyle Paquette Electric, where I learned commercial and industrial electrical installation. That foundation gave me a strong understanding of quality workmanship, safety, and the importance of doing the job right the first time.
Over the past 25+ years, I have built a diverse career as both a Licensed Electrician and Licensed Millwright, working in manufacturing, utilities, and industrial maintenance environments. My experience includes electrical troubleshooting, automation, motor controls, PLC systems, preventive maintenance, reliability-centered maintenance, and project planning.
Throughout my career, I have held positions with leading companies including Cascades, The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company, Lafarge Canada, and Loyalist Township Utilities. These roles have provided extensive hands-on experience maintaining critical equipment, improving system reliability, and keeping operations running safely and efficiently.
In 2025, I founded Deacon Power & Mechanical Inc. to bring together my electrical and mechanical expertise under one company. Based in Napanee, Ontario, we provide residential, commercial, and industrial electrical and mechanical services throughout Napanee, Belleville, Kingston, and surrounding areas.
